{"id":5922,"date":"2022-09-15T14:50:24","date_gmt":"2022-09-15T14:50:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dronevideos.com\/?p=5922"},"modified":"2022-09-15T14:50:24","modified_gmt":"2022-09-15T14:50:24","slug":"with-drone-in-a-box-uavs-become-fully-autonomous","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dronevideos.com\/with-drone-in-a-box-uavs-become-fully-autonomous\/","title":{"rendered":"With \u201cDrone in a Box,\u201d UAVs Become Fully Autonomous"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"YouTube video player\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/2b2rh86Jf5c\" width=\"740\" height=\"415\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><span style=\"display: inline-block; width: 0px; overflow: hidden; line-height: 0;\" data-mce-type=\"bookmark\" class=\"mce_SELRES_start\">\ufeff<\/span><\/iframe><br \/>\nImagine if your drone never needed to be piloted remotely or carted to a charging station or storage locker.\u00a0 Once fully programmed, it flew all of its missions on its own, without any hands-on support, and when needed, it re-charged and stored itself.\u00a0\u00a0 Sounds wonderful, doesn\u2019t it?\u00a0 Well, it\u2019s not just a fantasy.\u00a0 That\u2019s exactly what a state-of-the-art \u201cdrone in a box\u201d can do for you.<\/p>\n<p>The concept has been around for a long time.\u00a0 If it hasn\u2019t quite taken off, it\u2019s because many drone operators, private and commercial, still rely on remotely piloted drones to ensure that their mapping or inspection needs are precisely tailored.\u00a0 It\u2019s also a question of comfort zone \u2013 or even ego.\u00a0 Many drone owners insist on being \u2013 or at least, feeling &#8212; \u201din charge\u201d of their aircraft, whether they actually need to be to get the job done.\u00a0 And let\u2019s face it:\u00a0 Many of us simply enjoy the experience of flying our favorite \u201ctoy.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDrone in a box\u201d \u2013 DIB here, for short \u2013 makes human intervention in drone management largely redundant.
